What is a counter current pool?
A counter current pool, often referred to as a swim-in-place pool or an endless pool, is a type of swimming pool designed to allow swimmers to swim in place against a continuous water current. It creates a feeling of swimming without the constraints of pool walls.
To create a counter current pool a swimming machine is integrated into the existing or new pool. This produces a waterflow that is both challenging and pleasant to swim towards. Pool owners use their counter current pool system to exercise their swimming techniques and boost endurance.

EVA innovations in counter current pool systems
Unlike many other counter current pool swimming machines that rely on jet streams, the EVAstream utilizes turbine-driven technology. This natural motion of the water creates a unique waterflow that is directed towards the swimmer’s torso, not their head. This design ensures uninterrupted breathing space. Not only does the counter current pool machine create a serene and pleasant swimming environment, it also minimizes disruptive splashes and waves.

The EVAstream distinguishes itself with its specially designed turbine that features a narrowing at the outflow. Despite this seemingly minor alteration, it yields significant results in water speed. Whichever EVAstream model you choose, you can always expect optimal water speed that is at least 50% higher.
Closed motor design
The EVAstream adopts a hermetically sealed motor design with a high-quality shaft seal capable of withstanding a maximum pressure of 10 bar. The use of friction-free ball-roller bearings within a liquid-filled, pressure-resistant sealed motor housing ensures an optimally controlled environment.

The EVA RGBW LED underwater pool lighting complete the counter current pool experience. The underwater lighting guides you through the training. The changing light colours give you orientation within the exercise and motivate you as well.
EVAstream Move: Powered by a battery counter current machine
All the benefits of the EVAstream, but wireless plug & play and applicable in any pool. Since the EVAstream Move operates on a battery, it can be used anywhere and anytime. The turbine derives its energy from the battery, allowing for at least 1 hour of swimming at full speed. The battery pack can then be recharged using a 230V power outlet. Store it anywhere you like and only use it when you feel like it.
