Athletes are very critical when it comes to the quality of light. They should be, as sports lighting is crucial for visibility during the game, especially in ball games. The Tennis Court Sprokkelenburg, which opened in its beautiful location in 1990, renovated its tennis facility in 2015. During the renovation, the lighting was replaced with EVAline LED linear lighting above the tennis courts, which created the perfect light experience.

Tennis Court Sprokkelenburg uses the sports version of EVAline LED linear lighting in order to illuminate its six indoor tennis courts with artificial lawns at class-two competition level (500 lux). EVAline sport is the best LED lighting solution for indoor sports facilities. The combination of the LEDs’ high colour rendering index (CRI), low glare factor (UGR <19, glare-free lighting) and the very low flicker index (flicker-free lighting) of EVA LED indoor sport lighting ensures the perfect light experience, which is indispensable for sports environments. Standard fixtures are not designed for this but EVA Optic’s sports LED lighting fixtures are.
In many cases, LED lighting by EVA Optic does not need to be placed above the playing field in order to achieve the desired lux levels. Because of the fixtures’ high light intensity, the current line of EVAline sport linear lights can usually be positioned next to the playing fields, as is the case in Laren. These liner lights are tilted 25 degrees, which means that they evenly illuminate the field from the adjacent platform.
